AT ICFF 09 FOR SECOND YEAR IN A ROW
May 19, 2009: A participant of ICFF for the past fifteen years and winner of last years 2008 ICFF’s Editor’s Choice Best Lighting award, Pablo comes home with this prestigious honor for a second year in a row. This year also marked the unveiling of two new product collections: the ultra slim Lim LED task light designed by Pablo Pardo and the elegant Solis family of pendant lamps designed by Italian designer Carmine Deganello.
BRAZO WINS A PRESTIGIOUS IDEA GOLD AWARD

July 18, 2008: The award-winning Brazo received the 2008 Gold Industrial Design Excellence Award (IDEA). The Brazo's reputation for sustainable design, precision technical detail and clean aesthetic served it well and coincided nicely with all of this year’s (IDEA) competition winners. Out of 1517 entries, only 35 were awarded the coveted Gold award. “I was fascinated with this product's refined sophistication and precision technical detail. This design allows precise control and positioning of light through the clever and appropriate use of LED technology,” said Andrew Hartman, IDSA, Creative Dir., New Business, Philips (The Netherlands). The Business Week IDEA report hit the stands July 18 with an in-depth analysis of the winners. IDSA’s quarterly magazine, Innovation, will publish information on the Gold, Bronze and Silver winners – all winners and finalists will also appear in its Yearbook of Design Excellence this fall.

To create his award-winning LED lamp, Stathis modernized the classic pantograph task lamp by simplifying its mechanical complexity without sacrificing performance, while incorporating the most advanced LED lighting technology available. Link is also a fully sustainable, cradle-to-cradle design—effectively setting a new environmental standard.

FOR BEST LIGHTING AT 2008 ICFF
At the 2008 New York International Contemporary Furniture Fair a panel of distinguished U.S. and international editors bestowed Pablo the Editors Award for Best Lighting. The award is among the industry’s highest accolade—only 16 of the 600 exhibitors displaying contemporary furnishing received this prestigious award. This coincided with 2 new product launches: Link LED lamp designed by Peter Stathis and LIM LED lamp by Pablo Pardo.

With a flick of the dimmer it becomes the ideal table for displaying photos and other objects of desire and when switched to a low setting it softens the mood and creates the perfect ambiance for lounging and entertaining.
